Service history
Is there anyway to verify if a watch has been serviced by Rolex?

Great question, especially if buying a used watch. You would expect Rolex to keep service history and offer this confirmation service.

I just called them RSC and they said they wouldn't give out any information without having the watch in their possession. You would think they would five out that information and also verify it's not stolen.

Probably not many people do this but it might be a good idea to keep any service records yourself so you can show to a buyer in the future. I have never done this but will start with my current new Rolexes.

Right.....that's a bummer you can't verify from the seller. I'm just suggesting it could help you down the road when you are the seller.

Well, on the one hand a robust secondary market helps them support their ever increasing retail prices. However, in this one instance I don't really blame them. That's not to say that they're not unresponsive in many many ways which I find troubling.

Why would you think that they should give that information to somebody who just calls up on the phone.. If they did, and they told you that the watch you have was reported stolen; please bring it to them so they could return it to the proper owner, would you ???? How many watches do you think that they would recover with a policy like that ???

If you can have the seller open the watch, scratched service marks are often inside the case back.
