My favorites right now are Dirk black sharky, Dirk calf dark (bucaro) brown matching stitch, and OEM gator black/black stitch. I've been staying away from beige stitch.

As a new Panerai owner myself you will find that the possibilities are limitless. You can have your own custom designs made or pick from some already make that may be in stock. Here are two of my favorites,

Greg Stevens Designs
http://www.gregstevens-design.com/

and

Rob Montana aka The Strapsmith
http://www.thestrapsmith.com/

Happy Shopping

I've tried about 10 aftermarket straps- most of which I eventually posted in the for sale section here. My favorite has been the Mario Paci tan...no need to wait for it to patina because its already the optimal color.

As for OEM I like the black rugby calf better than the tunnel strap & the oem black gator/black stitch for a more dressy look. I have a antique brown OEM gator as well but it doesn't get as much wrist time.
