Blue Tudor Sub on Nato

If anyone has photos of their blue Tudor Submariner on a Nato strap (or any other strap, for that matter) I would love to see them. Many thanks in advance.

Somehow when I see all these watches in their different straps, I think of my daughters, years ago, swapping out clothing on their dolls.

This is a watch guy thing, but I think there's something more basic underlying thing in our psyche... maybe it's our control over our environment? Something makes use want to "dress things up"!

I had the exact same thought!

Is it just me, or do others also think NATO/straps in general go better with Tudor than Rolex? Maybe it's just because I automatically think Rolex = Oyster/Jubilee, but for whatever reason, these Tudors look great on a strap!

It is probably partially because you are thinking more casual when you think Tudor as compared with Rolex. And for sure, I think that blue is more casual than black (though I acknowledge that the beautiful WG Rolex Sub might stand as a counter-point to that comment). Perhaps most importantly, most of these great shots are of vintage, sometimes faded examples with patinas, which I think in general goes well with the Nato/casual strap look. Natos and straps on vintage Rolex Subs look great too.

I just picked-up my circa 1978 Tudor a week ago, and highly recommend having one in the collection. There is something very, very special about this watch.

Thanks again for all these great shots of Tudor Subs on straps. Real beauties.

A watches 101 question: what tool do I need to be able to change my bands and what's the best place to get it. Thanks in advance!
