FSOT: FP Journe Chronometre Bleu Tantalum

Here is my absolutely stunning FPJ CB with its famous 39mm tantalum case, blue dial, and full 18k gold movement. This is one of the most beautiful FPJs to me - the dial just has so much depth, and the blue varies from a shiny, electric blue to a matte, almost black color depending on the lighting. Out of all the blue dials I've owned, this is by far the most interesting and multi-dimensional - it appears simple at first glance, but once the simplicity is understood, the complexity of the way the dial reflects light begins to mesmerize.

The tantalum case is also stunning, with its blue-gray tones and significant weight. Mated with the full 18k gold movement, this combination is simply gorgeous. The perlage on the movement has to be truly seen in the flesh to be appreciated - it is so fine, yet so absolutely perfect.

The watch is in 95%+ condition. It was only worn a couple of times since new, so it truly appears to be like new in box. With my eyes, I can't see any significant scratches anywhere on the watch, let alone dings.

The watch comes complete with both boxes, the papers (dated February of 2013 so the watch is still under the majority of its warranty), and the original polishing cloth, strap, buckle, etc. - all as pictured.
