Just picked up a complete 1680

Just picked this up today. Looks pretty complete with the both boxes, paperwork, booklets, COSC with SN intact. Was just serviced and seems clean as a whistle. Seems like the only missing accessory is the anchor. It has a service dial. Normally I am not a vintage guy but this seemed nice

Very nice! Vintage and modern at the same time. Am I reading that serial number correctly? A 2 mil? That would be a candidate for a red dial, I believe. So, if you wanted to go a little nutty, you could track down a correct red dial (expensive!), although you'd need tritium hands too. Still, then you'd have a complete set red Sub. Or leave as it. Congrats!

5 million. The place that sold this to me said the box, booklets, pamphlet etc were worth a pretty fair amount on their own. The booklet has the red sub and Vintage SeaDweller in the pictures

Oh, I was always bad at reading numbers backward! Still, you could source a tritirum dial and hands, if you wanted to return all its vintage qualities. Not sure what those would run nowadays. Beautiful as is, too. So nice to have a complete set.
