checked all my books, can't see another example, anyone seen one, is it original ? i have doubts.

That was my thought, I would like to know if anyone has ever seen an original. Is this a copy of an original style ever made. I would love it,imagine In Gilt, it would be a rare bird indeed it is in no texts I have read, likely because it has never been made unfortunately imho and is just a figment of some dial refinishers imagination . it is just so classic, that is what interested me in this watch when j saw it, the old scrolling is beautiful if done correctly by Rolex it would be lovely on a dial.
