8 Months after 1st encounter...what's next?

Hi all, it has now been 8 months since I first placed a Panerai on my wrist (pam104). I was a happy Rolex guy with a gmtiic and tt sub, but after that encounter my mind cannot stop thinking about my collection. First I educated myself on history of the brand then on all the different models. My first purchase was a 312M but found it a little top heavy and did not sit right on my wrist, so off it went to dealer on consignment. Next I discovered the beauty of a 47mm radomir and how comfortable it was to wear so I quickly purchased a 425 which got me on good term with boutique. I was offered the next SE 448 which I quickly snapped up. Next I set upon a pvd model and fortunately found a 112I pvd'ed by montblanc from a well know risti. A few weeks ago I was offered 305O for my 312M plus $700 which I quickly obliged. After wearing all these 47mm watches my gmtiic and tt sub started to look a little boring to me, so I sold both quickly and bought a deep sea, a Rolex that can compete for wrist time with my panerai's. I have just completed a trade yesterday, releasing my 425 for Pam??? Tell me what you think it is or should be. Will post pic soon after my holiday.

Don't be too hasty to discount your Rollies. Pams and Rollies are 2 different kettle of fishes altogether. While the crown guard and larger size may be appealing to you when you are wearing them, the Rollie evokes a completely different feel when it's back on your wrist (at 40mm or even at 36mm). Both are watches in their own rights. Switch between both once in a while. You will be amazed that your sentiments will differ between them. It's like loving a son and daughter at the same time; and not loving one and disliking the other.

Seems like a fitting addition would be a 372 or 422. Or maybe the 514 - Looking foward to checking this one out myself..
Nice collection!

that's a really nice PAM trio and the DSSD is a great fit, too.

well, i guess maybe you can add something with a gold hand to replace the 425? a 190? that would also get you an 8-day movement.

or branch out and look at AP? maybe a 15400? that's what i would do, as your panerai collection covers almost all the bases for me.

EDIT to my post above:

besides the 190, how about the 368? that could fit in nicely, if you must get another panerai.

Funny, but I followed it perfectly. It's like the matrix...I don't see the numbers any more just watches!

Man, you move stuff around. You have done more in 8 months than I have done in 8 years.

How about something in composite... say the beautiful P.3000-driven 504?
What would you say to a destro? How about an 8-day PAM?

Combining two of the above, we have the
368 - a fantastic SE 8-day destro (P.2002)
339 - a sublime 8-day composite (P.2002)

You could trade up to the 425's SE counterpart, the 449...

Or maybe I'm getting way too complicated here so my final guess is that you traded your 425 in for a 372
