Great Panerai brand video on their yacht Eilean

http://vimeo.com/46213692#

For those of us who enjoy history, sailing and sun! :-)

Cheers,

Great video and thanks for sharing, Patrick! and just curious which luminor 47mm the CEO Bonati is wearing? it looks very great in the casual way.

372...

Very cool video. Eilean is IMO the BEST brand ambassador I've ever seen! If you don't want a Panerai after watching that video, you've got a cold stone heart. I thought it was neat to see Duran Duran wearing Panerai watches also.

Makes me want to pick up sailing again (despite the exorbitant costs!) although living in the Colorado mountains makes that unlikely. I miss Annapolis.

Mike buddy, I didn't know you used to live in Annapolis!

Love that place, a drinking city with a sailing problem. ;-)

Annapolis is a great city indeed. I learned to sail at Annapolis Sailing School and explored the waters in a 12' Herreshoff. Spent a lot of time at O'Briens (occasionally at McGarvey's but too popular).

No crabs and brewskis at Cantler's? (well, it was better in the 90-ies before the city people found it).

Cantier's has great water views and crabs (if they don't run out). Drinks were so-so. Scenery's not that bad though. However getting there is a big PITA unless you have a power boat and even then there's never any space on the dock.

I'm keeping my options open for the right deal. It'll definitely be a 47mm Panerai. 422, 372, or maybe 127...

How about the 389, Mike? Nice looking piece. But I have such a soft spot for the 372 though... (even if the plastic crystal is less practical).

The 389 is fantastic but I'm not sure I want another Titanium/ceramic dive watch when I already have the Pelagos.
