Oh thank you. Pens and watches do go together. They are two of the very few things that we use today EXACTALLY as they were use well over 100 years ago. I have to dig out my macro equipment and get clicking. I have to take some pictures of my yellow Day-Date I just bought on fleebay also.

This one I picked up in a box lot a few weeks ago. It has an unusual retractable nib housing which is moved in by rotating the black ring on the other end of the shaft, quite rare I think. The name Everest is on the box and again on the pen with the added "18 KR". It has no other names or marks. The nib is a Peterson 14 Kt. No 4.

That Sheaffer's Snorkel is beautiful. I remember as late as the 80's when Downtown L.A. still had some fountain pen dealers, traditional ones who fitted the pen to the user by aiding in nib selction. I remember seeing collections of Sheaffer pens and spares behind pen counters. These no longer exist.
