question about warrantee
i have a Z series 16610.
it was purchased outside the usa from an AD in 4/2007 i have the box & papers. It is running a drop fast so i called my local Rolex center and asked them about bringing it in they said since i purchased it out of the usa i will also need my bill of sale, which i no longer have. also the ad left the warantee blank so my name is not on it should i just fill it out? what should i do about the bill of sale? |

Warranty papers that are not filled out are not of any value to you for warranty work.. The important part is that the Dealer is stamped in and the date of sale.. Generally the rest is hand written in.
Are you talking about the Beverly Hills Rolex Service Center ? I might just drop by there... tell them your watch is less than a year old and is running out of COSC specs.... They ought to be able to regulate it while you wait...no questions asked..

Warranty repairs.>>>>>>
My experience, and the experience of others that I know, has been that the RSC does not polish the watch when performing warranty service.
Polishing is only included with a full service. I suppose that you could pay them to polish a watch but I'd be afraid to ask the price. Jim |

Welcome to TRF!
If the dealer name is on the warranty there should be no problems. As stated, a regulation is an easy operation, so you will soon have a more precise Rolex.

I bought mine in Germany and dropped it off at the RSC in SF. They said "Thanks" and it'll be ready in 6-8 weeks. No issues with paperwork. The 3rd degree seems strange.
