Watch Appraisal in NY

Not sure if this is the right forum for this, but does anyone have a good spot to get watches appraised in NY? Looking to have them done for insurance purposes.

This is not true. You need an appraisers license, not all AD's have this.

agreed, I checked around here, and I know NY could be different but I could not find one AD that would do an appraisal.

In fact two of them recommended the same guy for appraisals. BTW, he wanted $150 per watch.

And crazy money just to look up the retail price of a watch then put it on a bit of paper.

What is your price to appraise the watch? If you do not want to make it public you can PM me.

I work nearby, I can stop by one afternoon and finally add my watch to my insurance policy.

As legit as can be but wasn't aware that we had our banner in the signature line with a link to our page and mailman informed me that it was not allowed so it was removed just now.
