Black or Green Milgauss?

My Fiance's YM went berserk and is at the RSC right now. She works around MRIs and CAT scans all day and the magnets made her YM take on a life of its own.

So I am thinking of getting her a Milgauss. Ruled out the white dial as she already has a white dial Date (My Dad's who loved her dearly and was passed on to her.)

So for a woman's wrist what say yea? Black or Green glass dial Milgauss? Any pics and or thoughts would be great. In Tokyo shopping now for a deal.

I went for the GV. Best of both worlds as its a black dial yet a little unique and looks great!!!

I don't think gender will determine whether you go for black or GV. Just choose the one you prefer. I like both. GV is more interesting. Dislike the white face.

I think if it's for your fiancé, maybe ask where you'll get more lady's eyes on the question: https://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=28703

GV. The green crystal is one of the defining characteristics of the Milgauss.

Well I am trying to surprise her so I don't want to ask her...

Green seems to be the clear winner here but don't know how it would go over in her conservative hospital...

Be aware that magnets in MRI are strong enough to affect the Milgauss like it was any other watch...ct scanner doesn't have magnets so not as big a deal.....

Neither, don't wear a watch near MRI
Leaving my belt midair about a feet away is enough to see it flying into the MRI scanner

Maybe get a G-Shock/Baby-G

I've had both. The GV is a great watch and really pops. That said I found the black to be easier to read.

Something to consier however; Omega is introducing a 15,000 gauss reference in the near future.....

GV. I traded in my black one for the GV. Couldn't be happier. Also, GV holds its value better (which I'm well aware of, after the bath i took on the black trade-in).

Love my GV ..it's the most unique one of a kind watch that Rolex makes which I appreciate and the green glass makes it so special it really sparkles under the sun light and the color combination is so fresh and appealing .. It's a fun /not so serious looking Rolex that can be dressed up with a suit or like 007 Daniel Craig in a tuxedo
