Can the steel in Rolex cases be welded?
I was wondering if it is possible to weld the steel used in Rolex watch cases, or if it would not bond well.
I sometimes have a tough time deciding which watch to wear, so I was thinking that if I could weld them together somehow, and wear them all on one bracelet, that my problem would be solved. There's still the issue of how to position the individual watch heads so that one does not interfere with the winding stem of another. Also, if I send the conglomeration to a Rolex Service Center for maintenance, would they have a problem with it? I'm not planning to use any non-Rolex parts. Peter |

Actually, I just wanted to hold the forum "bonkers" record for a brief time, before you-know-who puts it out of reach.

but Peter, the metal in the weld would not be Rolex metal and I'm thinking they would charge you to replace it

I've got an even better idea: why don't you take the movement off one Rolex, the hands off another and cram it into the case of a third, topped off with the bezel from the fourth? With your helium-valved Kermit Daytona GMT, you'll be the envy of everybody!
