What does she like? Does she want an AP?

I am not sure if she does or not yet. I am trying to gather options and ask her which she would prefer or try to hint and show her watches and see her response. Thanks

If she's not a watch fanatic then you are always safe with a Rolex. Plenty to choose from in that price range.

I am getting her this for her Bday. 33mm, I was offered the 37mm but I think it would look too big on her thin wrist.

My wife requested for "something white" last Christmas, and I got her this...

She scolded me for spending unnecessarily, but it has since been on her wrist daily as her only watch, and both of us are very happy!

I say go for the 33mm Lady Royal Oak. I got my wife one as a wedding present. She use to wear my Rolex SD but after she got the AP she rarely wears the rolex anymore. The 33mm size fits her much better and she feels the AP grabs less attention. I also swapped out the white croc strap for a white rubber one since she wears it all day everyday. She BEAT UP the SD after wearing it for a year or so but the AP still looks almost good as new after 6 months.

Sorry for the crappy pic. I just had her shoot me a quick iphone shot.

Wedding day wrist shot

Oh nice choice! Beautiful. Thanks for the advice so far! I was thinking getting her automatics but they seem to be above my price range. And I think in the end, the quartz will work better since she doesn't have to wind it if she doesn't wear it for a few days.

I think this makes sense and fits nicely with your budget if you prefer an automatic.

Best of luck!

Perhaps a Rolex Steel & 18k White Gold MidSize 31MM Datejust Ref. 178274 Diamond Dial would do the trick?

She is going to be very happy with whatever you both decide to get.
