Icon14 Bad Moon Rising

I decided to take some shots of my JLC Master moon today.......I love this watch. Hope you like the pics!!

First, the dial side - classic layout, well executed.

Display back - showing the very nicely finished movement.

1000 hours of testing!

The flash caught the balance as if standing still.....

Very classic date indicator.....

Bad moon rising!

Great shots of a great watch, Al. But I hate to tell you, your moon phase is out of wack by 180 degrees. As of today, Dec. 10, the moon is waning (last quarter). You've got it rising (first quarter). If it's clear, step outside and see for yourself. That's what I just did.

Only when the moon is full. I happen to believe in total accuracy and my wolfie tendencies come to the fore when I see an eggregious error like the one Al posted.

Eggregious error, eh? Don't think so, Ed. In fact, it is a first quarter moon right now. New moon was December 1st, and the full moon is December 15th, so the moon is rising.

Beautiful pix of a beautiful watch! I love it. If they only made it in 40mm.

Al, you have two of my fave all-time watches. You're my hero!
