Ever heard of Kobald?
Hey guys I was wondering if anyone had ANY knowledge at all about a watch brand Kobald?
I can't seem to find much info on value or anything as I have a pretty extensive collection of these watches that were brought to me just recently. Was hoping maybe somebody had a contact that could help inform me on these watches? Anything helps, thanks guys. |

U.S. made high performance watches. I know that military members really go for them.

Kobold watches used to be rebranded Sinns. And for a long time they shared parts... FWIW... now they are a completely unique entity.

They make some nice watches. I think they are out of Pennsylvania. IMO, they are kind of generic for my taste.

Overpriced, but they have a loyal cult following.
They have gone through several rough patches business wise but they seem to be stable now. I know they owed Fricker $$$ for a case design and in the end Fricker had the rights to Kobold's "seal" design...So now you see many boutique brands have used that "basic" design for their cases. Lawless Tourby, Dievas and West Coast Time and many more. |

The last I heard was he was flashing a badge at a US airport and then deported to Germany.
About his watches I don't care.

I've heard of them, some of the models do resemble the Sinn line which I like.
