IWC or AP

If you have the choice between an AP Millenary 4101 and IWC Da Vinci Perpetual Calendar Watch which one will you pick?

The da Vinci. The AP doesn't really appeal to me

2 very different watches...not really sure how to pick. The AP is very modern, and like a piece of art (although I'm not sure I could wear it, I could stare at it for a long time).

The IWC I like the complications, but the case design (particularly the right side) is very unappealing to me for some reason.

Kind of apple and orange comparison. I will say neither. For AP, will choose RO or ROO, never warm up to the Milenary with its wierd oval shape. For IWC, my pick will be the Portuguese PPC with the blue dial. Yup, I got one.

I'd go for the AP.

AP for craftsmanship. IWC for case design (for these choices). Normally I'd choose AP all day long...

Of those 2 I like the AP more, but I'd choose Ben's Port Perp over both.

Da Vinci in WG with the grey dial is amazing and 1 of 50 pieces rare as well.

Between these 2 ... AP. People will confused this millenary to Tourbillon for a moment. :)

I like benlees watch. It's beautiful.

What was the question again? AP I suppose but I must say neither appeals to my narrow minded tastes.

The perpetual calendars are interesting pieces which are (IMO) worthy of appreciation for their complexity of movement.

I actually like the Kurt Klaus. See if you can find a deal... SS usually go for the 15-16.5k range asking price.

To add to a collection, I'd do it. But to choose one or the other, it would be the AP.
