Lamborghini Cabrera anyone?
Lamborghini has just produced their last Gallardo and they're going to replace it with a vehicle that goes by the code name "Cabrera."
It has been seen under wraps going around Nurburgring and some streets for testing. Anyone interested in it? Do any of you have Gallardos or Murcielagos? What will happen to the price of your previous gen Lambos when this baby comes out?

interested yes. Do I own a Lamborghini? Unfortunately no. The older models will certainly go down in price but that's not unusual. The lp 570 mid engine platform has been one hell of a performer. Can't wait to see what those nut jobs at underground racing can do with the next one.

Hmm based on what I've seen around the internet while looking at used lambo prices it doesn't appear that there is huge room for depreciation.
The earlier gallardo models have been fluctuating around bottom prices of 85-100k so I cannot imagine it falling much lower. Murcielago models fluctuate around 120 I think so maybe not much room for depreciation there either. But I'm not a dealer so I don't know what will happen.

Have always wanted a sports car named after a cigar smoking south American golfer....
I am sure it will be a cracker like the Gallardo. The Gallardo does seem to hold its value very well.

Yes, but not in a car form. Only as a central heating oil burner.
They also produced tractors for farmers and other equipment, at least at the years before moving to other owners.

Followed him around his first round at St Andrews in 2010. He was a blast to watch. Interacted with the fans, laughing and goofing off around the whole course. He was paire with Fowler and someone else who I don't remember. He holed his chip on one (maybe two). Pretty fun guy to watch play a round of golf.

You may already know there's a nice little race series for Lamborghini owners sponsored by Blancpain.
Maybe they'll open the North America Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo series to the new model, too. http://squadracorse.lamborghini.com/...-america/news/

The Cabrera looks like a mini Aventador... It will be a looker for sure, and likely perform on par with the 12C and the 458...
We have a 2010 LP560 spyder, which will get replaced in a year or two, but prob with a McLaren and not a Lambo... Also wouldn't want to order one new, you need to wait a year or two and let them take a 20/30% hit in the first 400miles... |
