So, if you got a Rolex for Valentine's Day...
from your sweetie and it wasn't the exact one you wanted, or hoped for, what do you do? Do you say something to him/her about it? Do you try to exchange it on your own? Do you obsess if they likely didn't get the maximum discount, or any discount? Are you just thankful that someone cared enough to give you a Rolex?

She was and I would guess still is one gorgeous lady. Lousy actress but I am sure no one was paying attention! Me, I'm a Jessica Alba fan!

I bought my wife a Fendi purse last year, and she asked if I cared if she exchanged it for another color. I didn't in the least and was glad she asked and got what she wanted. Take that for what you will.

I'd be very thankful. If my wife were to get me a Rolex, it would be the exact model I wanted and it would be sized to fit...because that's the way she rolls

If my girlfriend bought it with her money, I would accept the gift and be very happy. If my wife bought it with our money, I would make sure she got the best price possible and I ended up with exactly what I really want. I had a boss that received a SS Submariner, as a gift, from his wife one Christmas. He was very annoyed because he isn't really into watches, wouldn't have spent the money himself, and his stay-at-home wife bought it with their shared money. |

Even if I did not like the watch, I'd be very grateful. It's the gesture that counts.
Problem is that she did not give me any watch, at all. Now, I am a single-guy again.

Personally the right thing to do is put up with it. Fantastic effort by your partner. There is always your birthday, christmas etc to drop hints about a model you like
