Another one off to Michael Young!
Just got this band yesterday with a 1967 datejust I acquired. It is a JB Champion from 1967 in otherwise good shape. I am sending it off to Michael Young Monday. He currently has my two tone oyster band that he is working on.
Will keep this thread posted with updates.

Yes, a 7. I think it correlates to 1967... That would make sense to me.

I just dropped off 2 bracelets in his office last week. MY wasn't there but spoke extensively to one of the other watchmakers.
Very impressed with their office and service......super clean and organised working area. Looking forward to seeing the results in a few weeks.

I still haven't sent this band to MY yet. I just got back a 78363 from him and the results were fantastic. The watch that this band belongs to is with Rikki right now having a full overhaul. An oyster band will be going on the watch when I get it back from Rik, so there is no rush for the jubilee overhaul.

Just got an email from Mr Young that my band is ready. Payment sent, now I just have to wait. Pics when it arrives.
That was pretty fast.

It's not that bad... I think you have a few more years of wear to go there.

Yeah, I am still scratching me head as to why I wasted $150.

My flip-lock Oyster band arrived in HK two weeks ago and Michael said it would take 8-10 weeks to repair. To my surprise, today I got an email saying it is ready. I will take photos when received and pass them along.

MY seems to under-promise and over-deliver, especially in terms of delivery time
Can't go wrong with that!

Just received this back from MY.
I don't know how he did does it. Amazing. Took over a 1/2" of stretch out. I could barely get it to arc at all. The guy rocks. Reminder that this original band is from 1967/1968! And here it is reunited with it's 1968 (my birth year) Datejust, just freshly overhauled by the Master Rikki!!

That's a good looking 1968 DJ Pete. I wouldn't think MY could do too much with the individual links. I think he just drills the holes oversize and installs larger pins, presses it all together and refinishes the bracelet. Very tedious work I am sure. His prices are great! Would like to hear any other theories on how he does it.
