!6613 question......

Hi there. I have a 1996 Rolex Submariner bimetal. Black dial.

The bezel insert is black with silver lettering.

Someone asked me today why some of the 16613's have gold numbers on the bezel. He said he had seen some on ebay with gold numbers on the bezel.

Does anyone know the answer please??

Thanks

Bob

!6613 question......

Because they are 2 tone watches and should have gold on the insert.

there are lots of bezel inserts about , some are more genuine than others ,, maybe someone slipped in an insert from a steel sub , or maybe an aftermarket one ,, the gold really makes a difference , but its a diy swap , lots of pics here on how to do it.

I've had them with both, a matter of taste and like Tom said easy to swap.
