Can someone give me in depth info about the new airking, such as

Holy smokes....you want it all...
here is the nutshell: The Air-king has been around since before WWII when pilots referred to their Rolex Oyster as Air Kings since being able to calculate fuel, range, distance, airspeed, etc depended on a reliable time-piece. Wristwatches were not that widely used by men then as they preferred the pocket watch, but for a pilot, the wristwatch was ideal.. Rolex honored this by the dial designation Air-King on some of the Explorer models after 1953. Today the Air-King sports the 3130 movement, same as the Explorer and Sub-ND

i purchased an Air-King as a gift for my mother (men's watches are the new style for women :-) ); i was debating between it and the Explorer. In the end, the new bracelet and clasp sold me on the AK over the Explorer (plus I thought she'd like the pink dial)
