Got a nice 16750, will now log off for a couple of months...
...because being on this forum is not good for my personal finances
I need to cold-turkey and enjoy what I have for a couple of months. My wife will agree . Anyway, I just got my hands on a beautiful 16750 matte dial from '82. Just can't stop looking at my wrist. My colleagues have been thinking I have some kind of urgent appointment all morning.... |

Well done and not a bad idea, maybe just log in to the accessory area and find a nice faded insert, a jubilee bracelet and a Nato strap or two.

Nice!
I happen to be wearing my '83-84 (8,200,XXX) example, freshly serviced (for the first time since I've had it, about 5 years now). This is probably my least-old vintage watch.

I love it. What would be a good Rolex for the year 1980?
It's my birth year and i would like the watch that was hot that year. Any Ideas? |

GMT 16750, Submariner 16800, Daytona or Explorer II - these models would be a good place to start.
