Recommended tools for bracelet / strap changing

I have a lug holes case on my 1601 and want to be change my straps and not be reliant on anyone else what's the best tool for this? (As I don't want to be to rough on the case when changing). Thanks all for your suggestions

I use toothpicks. Also find them useful for keeping my end links and bracelet together.
