Wives and watches

Most of us have wives or girlfriends (or life-partners?? NTTAWWT) who either can't stand to hear us drone on about watches or are mearly tolerent of this crazy hobby.

My wife borders on 'can't stand it' and 'will tolerate' this illness. Sometimes she begrudges the money I've spent on watches and other times I hear her bragging to her girlfriends that 'my husband has a Rolex' so maybe she's bi-polar. She's also very proud of her TAG Alter Ego, but on the whole, she's not 'into' watches. In some ways I wish she was, cuz then we'd be a couple like Bruce and Tam, albeit, with less $$ in the bank .
