1956 Rolex OP 6565 Explorer 3/6/9 Style Guilloche Waffle Dial

Dial is an OCC Explorer 3/6/9 style with metal numeric and arrowhead markers. Hash marks are a gloss black that sometimes reflect light. Dial color looks white until under sunlight and a loupe where it looks a pearl white or gloss white with a silver tint (I'm going Pearl see photos) . SWISS @ 6 . Dial is amazing shape for its age and does not look refinished at all.

Crystal is rough with cracks - will need replacement. I had one come in but it was the wrong one.

Bezel is engine turned

Movement - a really nice 1030 - keeps good time but will probably need a service. Stamped ROW.

Hands: Dauphin with blue seconds hand (looks like crud on hand, not corrosion).

Band - no band.

Serial is 262,XXX. Caseback has III/56 stamped with 6564 scratched out and 6565 below that.

Case - needs a bath - & a crystal but otherwise pretty clean of dings & scratches. Engravings are clean & easily legible
