Rolex Service Center Rankings

So since some of my pieces are coming due for service I have to decide where to send them. I've heard some recommendations on the forum for Rik and word of mouth seems to agree RSC Dallas is one of if not the best.

Question is does Rolex or any other watch publication publish kind of like a consumer rating list of which service centers are the best in terms of satisfaction, reliability, etc? Kind of like what we have in the US a JD Powers report sort of thing.

Oh yes I would think so. My AD has an on site Rolex trained tech on staff so that's where I was leaning. Not to mention it would be quicker and the shipping back and forth would not be an issue. I'm probably going to use my AD on one of my pieces to see if the workmanship warrants future business.

Good thread. I hear NY is pretty good too. Never knew that dallas was such highly regarded.

If you dont mind me asking, which AD do you use? I ask because im located in MD and i need to find a trusty watchsmith as well (if I decide to not use RSC)

I've had warranty work done at the Dallas location and was completely satisfied, but when my 18238 DD needed work for some water intrusion I went local. Much less cost and a one week turnaround. Outside of warranty service he'll be my RSC from now on.

Only Rolex would know the different RSC stats regarding workmanship quality. Things like re-work due to errors, warranty returns for overhaul mistakes, etc.

...and they're not talking.
