Mesh on Daytona???
I want to put a mesh bracelet on my Daytona. No, not an April fools joke, but if you think it would look ridiculous, please let me know.
My inspiration? John Goldberger's vintage white gold Daytona on a segment of Talking watches on Hodinkee. It was the watch he was wearing. I thought it looked great, so maybe you guys can help me find one. Basically, how would a very fine, thin mesh bracelet look on my 116520? Awesome? Horrid? And where can I find one? Thanks- Jack |

Mesh or Jubilee ?
No problem with the jubilee. Never seen a Daytona on mesh. |

I suppose since mesh bracelets look great on other chronos (like Omega Speedmaster, Breitling TransOcean), it may look good -- albeit odd at first sight -- on the Daytona as well. I'm not sure where to source one, unless of course you would be willing to put an Omega or Breitling mesh bracelet on a Rolex watch head. Which would be a big no-no for me, but others may disagree.
(not my pictures)

It looks good on the breitling and speedy, but I need a very fine one. Preferably one the fits against the case like shown bellow. Just like this-

It may look fine, try it and see. What will look fine is a nice alligator strap. The Rolex bracelets on their corresponding watches are are to beat.

Is it possible to have one custom built with end pieces to fit in between the lugs- hug the case?

Mesh on Daytona???
A member here is making custom end links that would do what you want and fit with any strap or mesh. Smartyjones18 is his ID.

I've only seen 2 of them. I posted a link to a gold mesh bracelet. Do any of you know of anyone that can do a completely custom bracelet? And oyster end links wouldnt work for the look I'm going for.

I see what you mean about the oyster styled end links. The pic you linked to was a continuous mesh finished with the proper radius for the 40mm watch case. I don't believe there are endlinks involved with that one.

Do you know if one could be found? Will I need to have it custom made? Is there anyone who does custom bracelets?
