I think this ebay SD has a service dial....
If the SD was made in 1988, then it would be L series SN with a tritium dial.
This ebay SD has a dial with 'Swiss Made' under the 6 o'clock marker, a Luminova dial not Tritium as the original dial would have. Wouldn't this indicate a service dial and not an original dial. I could be wrong; not an expert. |

apparently the serial is 809xxxx – i can't figure it out though since:
the matte dial has no metal around the markers (http://www.doubleredseadweller.com/w...eadweller.html), a "stretched" crown and a dash between sea-dweller. the glossy dial has metal around the markers (http://www.doubleredseadweller.com/w...eadweller.html), a "stubby" crown and no dash between sea dweller. whereas this ebay item has: metal around markers stubby crown dash between sea-dweller |

Looks good...nothing wrong with a service dial anyway...stick with ebay and you will be covered just in case.
