Explorer on Rolex.com
Has anyone looked on the mobile site under movement specifications? It says this watch has a unirotational bezel coated in platinum. I was going to contact them but it is by letter and phone only

There are so many mistakes on the Rolex website and they have been that way since last year. I think Rolex hired CGI to do their website.

I just visited the site a minute or so ago and I looked at both the Explorer and the Explorer II, black and white dials, and none is listed as having anything but fixed steel bezels.
http://www.rolex.com/watches/oyster.html Wait a second! I see you're talking about the mobile site and sure enough if you go deep enough into the specifications, it does indeed state what you have reported. That needs to be fixed.

Good catch. You should write them a letter and for your diligence they should give a platinum bezeled watch for your troubles.

Good catch. Caught a few inconsistencies on the site myself over the years. Not an issue for us WIS but I feel bad for the average buyer looking up info.

I found multiple mistakes like that! I forget where they are unfortunately.
