Favorite Watch Magazine?

What are your favorite watch magazines? They do not have to be completely dedicated to watches.

Mine are: WatchTime, The Robb Report, Revolution, The Rake (fashion and lifestyle for the iconoclast and dandy).

I subscribe to The Rake, as it is hard to find on the American newsstands (produced by the same international (non-American) people who publish Revolution) and I subscribe to The Robb Report. The others I pick up at bookstores.

Excuse the dumb question, but what is JDM magazine? Is JDM a watch brand?

Watch Time and IW are my two favorites.
I'll check out Watch Journal, Revolution and others whenever I'm in Barnes & Noble.

I really enjoy the international flavor of Revolution and The Rake. Gives a sense of what people around the world are wearing.

I don't really like the clutter that magazines tend to create in my house. I normally just stick with online publications. WatchTime, Hodinkee, Watch Snob, and Jakes.

But I am working through a fascinating book, Rolex Report, courtesy of Thomaspp!

I've never looked at a watch magazine, except for the ones that I get from my AD.

I've tried to get the print media out of my life, but I still get some car magazines and organizational (colleges, schools, clubs, etc) literature, which once they've got you are hard to get rid of.

Fav Watch Magazines

Watch Time hard copy subscriber and love all issues archived on I pad...and searchable, printable archives on Website...and distant second IW which unfortunately lacks the archival features of Watch Time and at times articles are just disguised advertising.

I still have a partial subscription to IW left but will not renew. A year or two ago they changed their format to be much more in line with the other mags....big glossy pages that seem like ads and much less real content. They also moved more upscale and less 'real world' on the watches. I also enjoyed doing the puzzle for a chance to win a watch but they quit doing that too. (I did win once though!!)

I have been getting the emails from Watch Time and like what I see. I think I will try them when the IW subscription runs out.

My Patek magazine.

I prefer to get my information from the net, lost interest in "Watch Time" a long time ago.

Watch Time and Revolution are pretty good, but QP is my favorite. They tend to cover Rolex more than others.

If you like magazines with an international flavour to them take a look at WOW magazine (World of Watches). Originally a Singapore publication but have since grown with regional editions for Malaysia, Indonesia and a Hong Kong edition. The Singapore and Hong Kong editions are in English (not sure about the Malaysian and Indonesia ones) and comes out quarterly with the ocassional special issue.
