Is this real?
Hey friends.
I am looking to purchase this watch, but wanted opinions on whether or not it is real. I have looked for the model on the rolex site and could not find one that looked the same nor could I find the model for sale by an authorized retailer. Is this simply because it is an old model? Are there any red flags with this picture? The model is listed as Oyster Precision 6426. Thanks. |

I give up. Just tired of warning inexperienced people about buying luxury goods on ebay.

Dial is redone, hands look original, band is not.
I would stay away from fleabay period, buy from a trusted seller here

The seller listed the watch itself as authentic and the movement as authentic, but the band is clearly after-market leather. Does the rest of it seem genuine? I like eBay because they protect buyers from inauthentic goods, as a type of insurance. Just don't want to go through the hassle if there are obvious errors in the watch prior to purchase. I plan to buy and take to Bruce Carson jewelers in my area, an authorized Rolex dealer, and have them evaluate it for authenticity. I understand this will cost some money but if there are red flags I can return for 100% refund minus shipping charges. |
