Next vintage Rolex?

Hi guys..

I recently added a gilt 5513 to the gilt 1675 I already have.. Been missing it since I sent it for a service.. And perhaps it's not having it on the wrist for the last couple of weeks, but I'm now thinking of the next vintage piece to hunt for! It sure is addictive..

Am thinking of

1) Explorer II 1655 - would be my first matte dial, and the retro look will provide some nice variety.. Only drawback is the non quickset date which is a real bitch to set given I wear my watches in rotation with other pieces too..

2) Gilt Explorer 1016 (possibly chapter ring) - To continue the gilt theme.. Would sure be nice as hell to have a trio of gilts.. The non quickset would make it real convenient to wear too.. Though possibly compromising on variety in the collection..

3) Seadweller 1665 - Just so classic, iconic and a real nice presence on the wrist.. But having 2 divers in the collection a little overkill? Not to mention the non quickset date as well..

Usually when I hunt it takes a long time to decide what I want.. And to find a nice piece at the right price.. Hearing your thoughts would help refine mine too!

And to share pics of my pieces..

I think you need a matte dial and the 1655 is just perfect
