GMT Master Aviator -Red/ 40-45yrs old? HELP
I inherited this watch from my partner who died of a brain tumor.
There was no box or paperwork. The crystal is scratched, minute hand lost it's enamel and the crown is missing. In good working condition otherwise. I am considering repairing it Can you give me some advice on what it should cost to repair. Will it lose value if I don't use authentic Rolex parts? It needs a new crystal, crown and enamel replaced on the minute hand. Should only an authorized Rolex dealer make repairs? Thank you for your help and wisdom. First of all show some pics for the expert to see what u have n condition. Do not send to AD. It will definitely lose value with non rolex parts. As for selling n value, search n learn. I'm sure more advise will b given with pics.

So sorry for your loss. So sorry to hear this.
Please post photos of what you have, then we can help. Good photos. Take your time and get some good, close, well-lit shots and info will be given. You'll want to do this right, restoration wise, since I'm sure this watch means the world to you.
