I really love the look of the Daytona in the white dial.
It is very sharp and clean looking. Plus white makes the watch appear to look larger imo.

This poll will end like the several similar ones before it. The White Dial will win by a margin of two to one.

I carried a similar poll about a month ago and the answer came back as white.
Having now seen both dials in the flesh so to speak I prefer the black dial. But I still believe that most people choose the white dial, as they may already have got a black dialled watch. Some say that the white dial is more easier to read then the black, but I have my doubts. I would like to be in a position to put either claim to the test

Well if you are talking about the proper Daytona and thats the vintage ones like say the 6263, then it would be white dial black subs.If you are talking about the modern S,Steel then neither, although I much prefer the Zenith dial, but IMHO the TT is a much better looking watch and better looking dial.

Slight edge to the black dial for the more sporty look.

I voted for the Black Dial as it was the watch I'd always wanted
But now the white is starting to grow on me. Either way, you can't go wrong with a Daytona Dan |

Is this a northern / southern hemisphere thing? Here's a picture of my White Steel Zenith. I would like a black to go with it but not sure that will happen.. Cheers - Simon Last edited by Gurmot; 30 March 2008 at 01:30 AM.. Reason: Pic added |

For evening wear, given the choice between just the white or black Daytona, I would definitely choose black!! JJ

Got to agree with you there Paul the real Daytona's and IMO if the modern Daytona had a black type 6263 bezel rather than the steel one again it would improve the look.

I prefer the look of the black but if I had a couple of black dial Rolex I might go for the white to change it up a little.
