GMT-C Availability in Melbourne, Australia

If anyone in Melbourne is after a SS GMT-C L&K at Crown now have one on display. Nice watch but too shiny for my liking.

Hate to disagree mate but there are discounts available in Perth. I'll be looking at the GMT-C tomorrow at the AD's Garden City store and if all is well, i'll be purchasing it and yes we've already negotiated the price.

PM me if you want more info.

cheers

Not sure about discounts. I asked the price and was told something like 8.7K. I assume that this is list.

Dont worry - you're not missing much at the stores - the Karrinyup store HAD a collection of Tudors but i cant remember seeing Rolex - not sure if this has changed or not - i've only been to the Murray St store once and that was to see Glenn, the watchmaker to get my SD regulated and Gd City had NO stock - i've always asked for the watch to be brought in from the city store for viewing - which they've always been happy to do.

btw - i've responded to your PM

cheers

I saw that yesterday too. They got 2x GMT2c on display and a black dial SS Daytona.
I asked, no discount for GMT2c $8790 each. So apparently they sold one already

Was that L&K? I just ordered a white dial daytona with estimated delivery somewhere between 6 to 12 months. No mention was made of the black dial. Any idea if it is available for sale or pre ordered for a customer?

Yup it's LK alright.
No idea about Daytona. I didn't ask as I don't like black dial daytona anyways.

I don't mind LK but they do have to pay the rent which must be $$$ so I would not expect to get any discount unless I was spending big $$$$

I purchased a TT blue sub from L&K and they treated me well. In fact the price was not much more than buying in Malaysia and paying GST on entry to Australia.

In addition to the Daytona I will be purchasing a ladies perpetual no date from them.

Yes and No. Since they are at the casino they get a lot of people who won big or VIPs and just buy a blingy watch for the wifey.
