I'm a huge fan of the 1680, but if only one and condition equal the Great White wins.

1665... For it's relative technical superiority and unique charm as a true deep sea tool.
I also find SD a little bit more 'romantic'... To me at least... |

I love both and would maybe like a 1665 one day, but I bought the RED 1680, so that's my vote. Tons of charm and very cool, IMO.

If we are comparing the 2 watches the op posted the Red wins hands down. Beautiful patina and a great insert.

This is a tough one. They r both iconic. Each has its virtues. If I'm really pressed n both in mint condition, I would go with red. If I were u, I would either get both or get a drsd, problem solved. I currently have all 3.

1665. Both great, but if you are a fan of divers and dive watch history, the 1665 is king.
