So we have 7 new watches from basel
We have 7 new watches from basel according to rolex.com
These are : Sea Dweller DEEPSEA, Day Date II, Submariner Date, Cosmograph Daytona, Datejust Special Edition and new versions of the Oyster Perpetual Does this mean that no more surprises for today? I think that the only surprise left are the dial variations

yeap, there's seven of them. That's a good amount of upgrades in a given year. If Rolex made more upgrades, each of the new watches would not receive very much attention since there would be so much to look at. So I think Rolex did well with the amount of upgrades they made.
I guess, Ill just have to wait to see maybe an upgraded orange hand Explorer II. As for now, Ill always hold on to my Explorer II and continue to love that watch. Maybe it will be highly desired someday.

It's strange that they didn't introduce any updates of the GMT II C

I wonder if they are going to use the blue colour that they used on the Full gold ones My opinion is that the ceramic SS sub would be pretty neat but we are going to see it in 2 years. It would be a good thing to start saving from now

I think the Daytona model now is already perfect. If Rolex want to upgrade the Daytona, then they must made Daytona back to the past model like Daytona Newman model!!! The best Daytona ever made!!! The dial very excotic to me.

Looks like they did away with polished center links on new perpetual. Along with 36mm case it looks like they did something right. I'll reserve judgement until I see all the dials. Still hate the SDDS this-morning...and always will.

Would hardly call them new watches just minor cosmetic changes except for perhaps the DS.A new watch in my book is a totally new design and totally new movement.

Everything that Rolex has introduced looks good.
I am interested to see what prices these new creations will go for

I wouldn't mind a black ceramic bezel on my Submariner. I like the ceramic durability. The Deep Sea watch is going to be too expensive for a tool watch. Imagine the old COMEX watches going for that kind of money how many divers would have been using them. It was a nice heritage and sign of arrival to have gotten one of the COMEX watches previously. It will be interesting to see what happens with this watch.
