Hi,

For those of you who own a Daytona and use the chronograph function regularly....does it bother you that some of the tick marks are missing (the 1, 9, 11, 19, 21 and 29 minute markers)? Do you find it hard to read quickly when figuring out something within that timeframe?

Nope. If they were there it would be impossible to see the numbers or they would have to be made much, much smaller.

The double numbers are sized so that each edge takes the place of a tick mark, same as a bezel.

I have stared at chronograph dials for 30 years now. It's come to the point I can tell how many minutes by the angle of the indicator on a 30-minute dial. Kind of like telling time on a watch with no markers on its face (thinking Movado Museum and the like).
My only issue is having to angle the watch so that the indicator reflects light and becomes visible!
