My Diver is acting up on me again. So when i try to adjust the time i could feel and hear clicking sound as if there is something blocking the crown every half turn. The clicking sound is similar to the sound when turning the bezel. I am worried and I think this would be my last AP.

Mine does that when it's fully wound. Doesn't feel blocked, but makes clicking kinda sound and feel of winding changes.

In fact all of the mechanical watches I own make a clicking sound when fully wound.

Edit: thought this was when winding, not setting, would let it run for a day or so and see if clicking still present when setting time, if so send to Clearwater or get your money back.

I think 40 is the max they recommend.

The clicking changes one fully wound (doesn't feel as 'nice').

Mine doesn't click when I change the time though - only when winding and screwing down the crown.

Update: the watch runs smoothly now after I left it overnight in the drawer. I think it may be the date mechanism or the winding mechanism. I hope its a minor issue.

Oh that brings one other thing to mind, they do warn about setting date between like 6PM and 1AM in case you hadn't read that already.

I am under the impression that the rules are the same as an ETA 7750 which is 9PM to 3AM

Nah, definitely 6PM-1AM, that was taken directly from the Diver manual via AP's website, here you go, just look for 3120 Diver:

be careful, do not over wind the watch, there's chances that you might pull the crown stem off from the case. It happened to me last time. and it sucked so bad!
