Price increase Oct.1!!!

I've dealt with my ad for a few years. Every time there was a price increase they were spot on.

I was contacted today regarding Rolex launching a new price list which means usually a price increase! Considering that a thread like this is on the TRF every other day, I wonder how true this will be.

Again, my AD was spot on in the past few years when the company is sending a "new price book!"
I hope they are wrong!!!

Besides, I guess the potential increase is for US marked only, right?

I haven't been in to watches long enough to have experienced a Rolex price increase, but I thought ADs only find out a couple days before, not a whole month!

Does your AD say it often? If they predict it often enough, they'd eventually be right.

I predicted Oct 1st, 3 to 5% on the last price increase thread. In a few more weeks we will see if we are correct. It will be two years and four months since the last increase (June 1, 2012) so we are over due I think.

I just might acquire one more piece before the end of the month.

My AD friend tells me Rolex sends the new price book one or two days before the new prices take effect, no prior notice is ever given.

Correct it has always been Rolex policy to do so and they don't give month's notice. AD gets new price sheet and turns old one in. Being that we have one of these threads every week or two some point it has to be right.

Spoke to a local AD today after I saw this thread and they told me they have no clue and they won't until the day they get the new price sheet. I have so much respect for this AD now They told me the truth

My AD tells me he doesn't know until the last minute and the news is always delivered by FedEx, or it was at the time we discussed it.

When the news of what was to be the D-Blue, they were clueless, because none of them are interested enough or have the time to spend reading TRF.

In fact, my AD told me that he enjoys chatting with me, because I do keep up with the watch boards and he doesn't have time to.

And also, he agrees that Rolex has better security than the CIA, the NSA and the FBI combined.

best way to tell is rolex won't ship out watches Ads have on order for at least 3 weeks. usually can be assumed they are not filling the order due to an upcoming price increase that they want to pass along to the ADs :)

I was in my local AD here in Bangkok last Wednesday or Thursday, I forget which, and they had a price increase that day of 5%. I went in and there was no prices on anything and the girls in the store were attaching all of the new price tags that they had printed off to the watches. The girl in the store showed me the new price list which they had just received the evening before. I wasn't sure if it was an actual worldwide price increase or just a local increase due to a currency exchange correction or something like that.

Several AD's I have dealt with stated they get no advance notice. Are ordered watches price protected?
