So I was at a bar after work wearing my SD..............
And the SD caught the very pretty bartender's eye.............and I let her touch it, stroke it, and shower it with attention (i'm referring to the SD you pervs!!!)
With my Rolex as my "wingman", needless to say I got her phone number. Well come to think of it, maybe it was the Rolex, or the rather large bar tab plus generous tip..............or the combination of both but..... Anyone else with similar "success" stories? |

Enjoy it while you can. Once the word is out that there is a new, larger Deep Sea model, your undersized SD will not even get a 2nd glance
Seriously, no one notices my watch and that is the way I prefer it Sean

Same here. We were at dinner on about our second date when Karen said something to the effect, "Wow, that is really a beautiful watch." I replied that " it ought to be, it was a Rolex". I was wearing my TT Bluesy at the time. Fast forward to the present. We've been married almost four years and the lady is definately not a gold digger, she makes more than I do and is truly my greatest blessing. Tempus Fugit, Trainer |

I just bought a SS Sub, I hope I get some type of similar attention. Too bad not as much depth. Can't go down too low with it.

I went to a late lunch today and sat at the bar for a little while and not a bit of interest from the pretty bartender while wearing my SD. I'm thinking if I get the DeepSea and that would all change.

lol...I was at the Tavern at Phipps in ATL a month ago and at the "shift change" at 4pm I nice young waitress remarked "nice watch" when she caught a glance at my GMTII Red/Black. She was a gold digger, and I gave her a shovel.

Unfortunately, where I'am at, not too many people ever heard of Rolex. How about sending some gold diggers this way!

Never happened to me. Then again, it's probably more because of the "What gives you the idea I'm interested in conversation?" expression I usually wear.

I think I prefer it when people DON'T notice that I wear a Rolex sometimes.
Another perk of a NATO strap

hahahaha you guys crack me up!!!
I do agree with tim about not wanting to be noticed with a rolex sometimes, made me feel very self conscious, well that was until she leaned over................ and well you know, i couldn't help but take a peek :) |
