Is the strap that comes with a Pam 49 a 22/20? If so will a 23/20 fit on it? I want to get a burgundy croc strap from Panerai. Also would it be wise to buy an additional deploy buckle for the new strap?

The 23/20 might fit at the lugs, but with the deployant strap, make sure the strap is meant for that system. The deployant straps are very thin at the tail, so as to fit in properly.
IMO, i would pick up a tang buckle for the second strap. Just to change it up a bit.
Check out the other strap makers out there. Many ship with a buckle.
