Hi guys! Just seeking advice on what you all may think of getting rid of my milgauss blue dial. I've had it for over a month but not fully convinced it's the right watch for me. I've given it a try but still not convinced. Bought it at a AD and will be taking a little bit of loss at a local watch store who is willing to take it in. Am I making a mistake? Your feelings on this would be welcome.

Better to suck it up and take the loss now than not and take a bigger loss later. I've had watches that I've had to constantly convince myself to keep, only to later sell. It's not worth the effort and buyer's remorse.

Definitely unload if you have doubts just a few weeks in. I've been sitting on a $1K watch of a different brand I bought months and months ago when within the 1st month I knew it wasn't for me. I put it on for a couple minutes every month just to verify my feelings have not changed. It still isn't for me.

Does the AD have a return policy? Perhaps you could take it back and swap it for something else.

If it's only around a month old, talk to your AD first. They may give you serious trade up value. Regardless, flip the hell out of that Milgauss asap.

That particular watch/color combo is a polarizing watch. It was introduced with mix reviews so if you don't love it and can trade it off, then do it. It doesn't have the universal appeal as other models and could be a very tough watch to trade down the road.

I also grew out of love. Flipped mine for a RG TT YMII still haven't received the new watch yet but don't miss or regret getting rid of it. So do your thing

Thank you guys for the supporting words. It was sort of an impulse purchase, loved it the first day then it was quickly downhill from there. Not sure where to go from here. I'm starting to like the subs, but can't say without first putting one on.

If I were you, I'd find a watch from a trusted seller I wanted. I would explain to the seller what happened and ask how much they will credit toward the purchase of their watch.
Be warned...like us, they may ask for pictures!
You might check with the AD to see what they can do, but be prepared to replace your Milgauss with something from their stock.

Go try on other watches... Considering your investment -
Obviously rolexes, maybe a jlc, Pam, blancpain, a couple
Tudors, or a gently used AP (for a couple extra bucks on
Top).
