Jj

I have been away from this forum for some time. On my return I have looked for a member "JJ" I think, who help spark my interest in my first Rolex some 6 years ago. The other day I was reading a post and some member had a note that said "RIP JJ" he had the whole member name but I was traveling and have lost the post. The guy I remember "JJ" was a bald man with glasses with I believe several thousand posts. I would just be interested in knowing if he has passed. He was a great person to talk to about Rolex. He had the passion.
If this is a personal issue with someone who can advise please feel free to private message me. Thanks. Sorry for the downer question.

Yes, JJ is unfortunately gone but he lives in many of our hearts.

He was the first to welcome me here and helped me immediately by pm on a request.

So sad to read this. It was his enthusiasm that helped me pull the trigger on my first Rolex. Really nice guy. When I got back to the forum I kept looking for him.

J.J. was the most humble man I've ever encountered online.
And I cannot imagine thinking of a two-tone Sub without remembering his love of "Bluesey".

John, thanks for sharing the link. Nice to see how he affected some many others. I too am in Scottsdale up near Desert Mountain. Maybe we'll run into each other one day and hoist up a drink to JJ. Again, thanks for sharing.
