Vintage Daytona reference numbers
Hi All. So, here's the question. On the older Rolex Daytona's, such as the 6239 and 6262, etc., does the reference number on the case between the lugs ALWAYS match the reference number on the inside of the caseback??? Or, were those reference numbers sometimes different?? Thanks

And so, if they do not always match, is the reference number between the lugs correct or is it the reference number on the caseback? Thank you.
