After a month of 116718 ownership...

My brief review of owning this ref for slightly more than a month..

Being a SS and TT Rolex watch owner for a couple of years, I now fully understand the allure of YG.

Those on the fence or already contemplating a YG sports ref, do take the next step, it is amazing on the wrist.

I wear it once every 2 days as I rotate my watches, but truthfully, the 116718 can be worn all day everyday, to the workplace in business attire and casual on weekends.

Wrist pic warriors will find the ever-changing colors of the YG and green dial an interesting subject.

Having read on this forum about depreciation in value of Rolex precious metal ref prior to my purchase, I thought about it for 3 days..😱

The owner pics from this forum convinced me that I should get one, and I do not think about the depreciation, just enjoying the watch for what it is.

Thanks to everyone for taking the time to read, and thanks again for the enabling!

If you never plan to sell it, wgif about depreciation. ( to a reasonable extent) the 718 GMT is a magical yg Rolex. The king of casual and business. No yg Rolex plays both fields as well. In my correct opinion

Awesome watch Patrick and I completely agree with your comments. Shortly after getting mine I wore it sparingly, but after reading comments from other owners. I decided we only go around once and life it's too short to not enjoy our watches. Here's mine.

I just am in love with this green dial/black bezel combination. I am dying for them to release this combo in a Submariner - kind of a reverse of the 50th anniv Sub. That said, it deserves to be a color combo reserved for YG.

My grail Rolex has always been a WG model to stay a bit more under the radar. But this and a couple other YG threads have me re-thinking!

Gorgeous piece. The only reason I do not have an all gold piece is because I cannot afford one right now. The day I do buy one, I will buy as well as I can initially and after that the thought of how much it will depreciate will not enter my mind. I will be buying it for myself and my own enjoyment, not for nobody else and certainly not with the possible "next guy" in mind.
Wear in good health. It's a beauty.
