FS: Grand Seiko SBGH005 Hi Beat
Up for sale is my beloved Grand Seiko SBGH005 Hi Beat. Key info:
Face: Black. Strap: Bracelet. Case: steel. Case Size: @40mm. Case thickness: 13mm. Movement: Automatic "Hi Beat," 9S85 caliber Comes with: original box and all books and papers. I'm in the process of selling most of the "larger" watches in my collection to make room for some slimmer pieces, including another Grand Seiko at some point, and this -- although it hurts -- is one of several on the block. I'm the original owner, and I purchased the watch from an authorized Grand Seiko dealer in the U.S.. It's a gorgeous piece, and its black face actually produces a sunburst pattern when you catch the light at just the right angle. I've had no luck reproducing it in photos, although you can find photographs elsewhere that capture the effect. The bracelet is sized to my 6.5 in wrist, although this will come with a few extra links in case you need to make it bigger. It's a Grand Seiko so you know it keeps fantastic time. I bought the watch in 2011, and although it shows some slight wear, I could not identify any significant scratches or blemishes on the case. I'm asking: $4,200. New ones retail for $6,300. Payment by bank wire. I will ship overnight anywhere in the continental U.S. I prefer U.S. deals though I'd be willing to at least discuss shipping outside the U.S. I'm not interested in any trades, although if you have a Breguet 5177 or an old Patek 5053 in WG we could at least talk. Feel free to email me at [email protected] if you have any questions. Thanks for looking! |
