FS: 1968 BULOVA ACCUTRON “Railroad Approved” SOLID 18K GOLD - EXCELLENT
1968 Bulova Accutron “Railroad Approved” SOLID 18K GOLD ALL ORIGINAL Except Strap Hacking 218D Tuning Fork Movement EXCELLENT CONDITION Throughout For sale from my personal collection is this excellent 46 year-old Bulova Accutron “Railroad Approved” wristwatch in the rare solid 18K gold case. This Accutron is ready to wear, as it is equipped with a brand new battery and a genuine monitor lizard strap. Like all true Railroad Approved Accutrons, this all original example has a hacking feature that works precisely. The caliber 218D tuning fork movement still keeps excellent time as well. You will also notice that the production dates (M8 = 1968) are the same on both the case and movement. This Accutron has obviously been well cared for, which is typical of high-end corporate presentation watches like this. Note the careful and handsome engraving that honored 25 years of dedicated service at one of America’s top defense contractors. You can check on eBay, all the watch forums, and the vintage watch dealers, but you are not going to find a genuine solid 18K gold “Railroad Approved” Accutron like this one at any price. This is a very special timepiece. Offered at $1,675.00 insured and shipped worldwide. NO TRADES. I can accept PayPal for U.S. deliveries and bank transfers for international deliveries. For fastest response, please email to: [email protected] I am a long-time posting member of TRF, and maintain a 100% positive feedback on eBay (“pacifichrono”).
