Rolex Submariner braclet sizing?
I was wondering about getting the sizing right on a 114060. I first took out a link from the 12 side, but it was almost was a little loose, then I took out a link on the 6 side and it was snug but with 4 links on the 6 side it looks weird with the clamps being so close. Any suggestions? Should I take out a half link and add a link back to the 6 side? Thanks in advance.

I have never taken out links on the 12 o'clock side. I usually remove from the 6 o'clock side and any further adjustments are done with the micro adjusting on the clasp.

I've got 4 links on my 6 o'clock side of my SubC. Sometimes the clasp cover is centred on my wrist, sometimes it's pulled to the 6 o'clock side and the watch isn't sitting flat on my wrist at that point: it's levered up on the 12 o'clock side.
I have small wrists and wear my watch high. I'm thinking of moving a half link from the 12 o'clock side to centre things out a bit more. |

This begs the question, what is the proper way to wear a watch? Loose so it goes into the upper part of the hand a little when the hand is lowered, or fairly snug so it basically stays in the wrist area?

Whatever feels most comfortable. But the bracelet wil last longer if you wear it a little snug.

4 1/2 on the 6 side is the perfect fit IMHO.
I purchased a 1/2 link for my TT 116613 to make it fit just right. |

Set the glidelock two to four notches from the tightest setting, then remove the mini link, and continue to remove links on both sides as equally as possible until the clasp is fairly centered under the wrist. There is no standard, as the number of links removed will obviously depend on your wrist size and what you feel comfortable with.

With my new Hulk it was very easy. Just had to remove the 1/2 link near the Glidelock and make sure Glidelock was pushed all the way in to tightest setting. My wrist is about 7.5 inches and the watch fits perfectly.

With 6 links on the 12 side, and 5 on the 6 side which is a hair loose and My glidelock is on smallest setting so if I adjust it, the watch will be too loose. I wonder if I should take out a half link so the glidelock is in the middle of the clasp so I can have room to tighten or loosen?
